Umar Shehzad

Research Assistant

Umar Shehzad is an Electronics Engineering graduate from NUST and currently doing his Masters in Computer Science from ITU. He is working in IPAL as Research Assistant on the Water ATM project. He is acting as support engineer and carrying out the collection of user requirements for assisting the development team for deployment. He is also working on real time water quality monitoring module with the aim to potentially revolutionize the water distribution management systems.

He has a keen interest in the field of ICTD and product development for the BOP and is a supporter of maker culture in Pakistan.

If you want to be a part of the D-Lab course, by helping the students in their research, brainstorm with them, by arranging or inviting them on a fieldtrip, or be a part of the IPAL projects by working on the hardware/software components of the projects, please write to us
