Sameea Ashraf

Research Associate

Sameea Ashraf completed her Computer Science Masters degree from ITU Punjab in YEAR. She holds a keen interest in software development and wishes to use her technical expertise to provide low-cost technological solutions to combat poverty. She has been working as a Research assistant at IPAL for the last two years and regards her core competency existing in ICT4D (health), as she has been an integral part of several health-related projects in IPAL. Her ambition is to improve health practices amongst underprivileged communities, and is a firm believer of using technology for development and to improve the lives of those less fortunate. Her passion is to learn about new technologies and how they can help in shaping a better Pakistan, and a better world, for future generations.

If you want to be a part of the D-Lab course, by helping the students in their research, brainstorm with them, by arranging or inviting them on a fieldtrip, or be a part of the IPAL projects by working on the hardware/software components of the projects, please write to us
