The Innovations for Poverty Alleviation Lab (IPAL) consists of a team of young and exuberant researchers, technologists and designers who believe that technology has the potential to improve quality of life and bring about positive social change.

The components of IPAL are designed in a way that challenge our team and our students to employ their skills and abilities to foresee, understand and solve locally relevant problems harnessing the power of technology and design.

Innovation in its many dimensions is a leading factor for social and economic growth that is why we lay strong emphasis on developing unique and innovative solutions to solve the myriad of socio-economic problems currently being faced in Pakistan.

Technology has the potential to improve lives and resolve social issues. We teach and create design solutions to bring stability, growth and hope to people struggling with poverty related issue at the bottom of the pyramid.
